Our Mission
The School District of University City Adult Education & Literacy Program (AEL) provides basic education to adults, ages 16 and over, so they may become productive, self-sufficient, and contributing members of society. As we adjust to the new norm with COVID-19, we are making the necessary adjustments to ensure the quality of our education programs and services are maintained.
Core Focus Areas
(1) High School Equivalency, this is a computer based exam; (2) Literacy Education, to assist adults learn to read and write, which is essential to achieving success in the United States; and (3) English as a Second Language (ESL), providing students, for whom English is not thier primary language
